Navotas suspends face-to-face classes amid transport strike
In response to the upcoming transport strike, Navotas has suspended all face-to-face classes in public and private schools in the city to ensure the safety of students. Instead, schools will use distance learning modalities such as online and modular schemes to continue providing quality education to students.
The city government has emphasized its commitment to ensuring that the strike does not hinder the daily lives of Navoteños. The hashtag #AsikasongAllTheWay has been circulating on social media, encouraging residents to find alternative ways to commute and continue with their daily activities.
"We want to make sure that our students are safe during this transport strike, and we also want to ensure that they do not miss out on their education," said a city official. "We are encouraging schools to use distance learning methods so that students can continue learning from home."
The suspension of face-to-face classes will remain in effect until the transport strike is resolved, and the city government will continue to monitor the situation closely to ensure the safety and well-being of Navoteños.
